Quel Esprit was cut to 16-1 from 25-1 by William Hill for the Betfred Cheltenham Gold Cup following victory in the Hennessy Gold Cup at Leopardstown on Sunday. William Hill spokeswoman Lucy Rhodes said "Quel Esprit gained that well-deserved Grade One success, however, given the proximity to Roberto Goldback it didn't appear the strongest of renewals, and it's going to be a big ask to compete with Long Run and Kauto" Earlier on the card, the Dermot Weld-trained Hisaabaat was cut to 12-1 from 25-1 for the Triumph Hurdle following victory in the opening race.
