Better Deal for Poker Players Who are Active at the Table - Titan Poker Alert. New Rake Contribution Method Starting March 5, 2012, Titan Poker and the entire iPoker Network will move to a weighted rake contribution method. In the new system, players will earn rake in proportion to the amount of money they have contributed to each pot. Players who do not contribute to a pot will not earn any rake. Players will receive Titan Poker Points based on their contribution to the pot. The amount of Points awarded for $1 rake will be fixed ($1=15 Points, 1=18 points, £1=21 points) for all players. No change: The percentage of rake deriving from the pot, the maximum rake per pot, tournament fee settings, Club Titan VIP benefits, and the Club Titan Store will remain the same. The weighted rake contribution method is now the industry standard. It is the fairest method, assigning rake and Points to the players who contribute (bet) more. It will hopefully encourage more active participation in the poker game.

More About Titan Poker Points Titan Poker Points are earned at ring games based on the "rake taken" during each hand. For example, if $0.50 in rake is taken at a hand, all players who contributed to the pot will receive 1.7 Points. If $3 is taken at a hand, all contributing players will receive 17 Points. Clarification: "rake taken" refers to the entire amount of rake taken from all players during the hand, and not from any individual player. Titan Poker Points are also awarded at tournament play. For every $1 in fee each player generates, he will receive 17 Points. The More You Play, the More Points You Earn. When you sit at a ring game table, you'll see a line in the top left corner of your screen. The word Points stands for Titan Poker Points. After each raked hand you will see this number grow. This represents the number of Points you've earned at that ring game. Bonuses are issued automatically - When you are issued a bonus it will be added directly to your Pending Bonus Dollars account. Your bonus will be redeemed as you earn Points. Please refer to each specific bonus' page for the redemption rate.
